Homage to La Mère Catherine every Friday evening throughout June…
We have been inspired by a historic bistro in Montmartre called La Mère Catherine. It is the kind of place where tables are close together, sauces are made slowly, and dinner is never rushed. A place built on tradition, generosity and simple, honest cooking.
This is our way of recreating that feeling at Bitton.
We begin with French Onion Soup,
a rich, slow cooked onion broth topped with toasted baguette and bubbling Gruyère.
Then, to share, Chateaubriand for two.
A premium centre cut of beef, roasted and served generously with duck fat potatoes, green beans Provençal and butter lettuce dressed in our Bitton lemon dressing.
